Tees Transporter Bridge & Seaton Carew at night

The Tees Transporter Bridge, or The Transporter, spans the River Tees between Port Clarence and Middlehaven. It's the world's longest existing transporter and carries a 'gondola' across the river in 90 seconds when operational. As of 2022, the bridge is not in use but is part of the A178 road between Middlesbrough and Hartlepool.

These views are from the Port Clarence side of the bridge with it framing the river Tees and surrounded by local industry.

For me this black and white version better represents the more grittier feel of the area which historically was (and I guess still is) industrial with steel making, ship building and chemical industries along the river Tees
